Johnny7 and the Black Crabs

Thanks to the guys for another great set on the Linger Longer Stage. We loved having you back. Check out their website at theblackcrabs.com. Jeff Wittekind and his band provided a great opening show. Photos below taken by Mark Miller. Concert sound engineer: Tom Brown at Hear Here Music of Quilcene.

Don’t miss photos from the FamilyFest portion of the afternoon!

Johnny 7 and the Black Crabs is a rock and roll band that blends the rules of vintage 50s rhythms and modern sounds. Front man Johnny7 slings songs straight from the heart, or the pelvis, depending on his mood. He even plays a little guitar. Stand-up slap bass of Wes Amundsen and the crazy antics of drummer Mike Daugherty complete the picture! theblackcrabs.com

Concerts benefit the Worthingon Mansion Rehabilitation Project and the Quilcene Museum www.quilcenemuseum.org

“The Black Crabs kick ass like a bunch of cross-eyed Rockettes.” —Dr. Leon Berman, Shake the Shack rockabilly show, 90.3 KEXP Seattle.

“The Black Crabs might not sound like something you’d want to catch – especially after we add that they’ll make you feel like you have ants in your pants – but trust us, the Seattle rockabilly ensemble with the prickly moniker are worth checking out. Lean and lively songs are available to sample on their website (http://www.theblackcrabs.com/)” — Kurt B. Reighley, The Stranger
